Owned and Operated by local title professionals, Empire's operating philosophy is a simple one: sound, basic title services. We specialize in solving title problems and maximizing opportunities for transactions to close. We understand the issues; we know the title insurance and settlement business.

One of our primary goals is to develop profitable business relationships with our clients. Empire is committed to people--those who work for us and those who work with us. We have much to contribute to the communities in which we do business and have no intention of moving in and out of markets as economic conditions change. We all live in the Colorado Springs area and are raising our families here.

Executive Officers

Bill McAfee, President. Bill has 14 years of Sales and Sales Management. He leads the Title industry in educational classes for Real Estate Professionals. His knowledge of Title Insurance and Real Estate are unparalleled. What a wonderful man to have as the president of our company!

Escrow Department

Ronda McAfee, Escrow Manager/Closer. Ronda has over 18 years of closing experience and brings a wonderful attitude and fantastic leadership qualities to our team.

Sharon Myers, Escrow Closer. Sharon brings over 26 years of closing experience to our company and is considered to be one of the best closers in the area!

Barbie Bunker, Escrow Closer. In today's world it isn't unusual for Title Companies to get their figures minutes before closing. With Barbie's 6 plus years of escrow experience, she has become our "Figures Wizard" by insuring that if we have figures, they will be done. She also closes for the Empire Team when needed. It is both a pleasure and a relief to have her aboard.

Elisa Sundahl, Escrow Closer/ Assistant. Elisa has several years experience in the Real Estate field. We like her... We think we will keep her!

Natalie Koonce, Escrow Closer. Empire Title of Colorado Springs is proud to have Natalie as part of the family. Coming to us from Stewart Title she brings a fresh perspective to the team.

Terry Muckenthaler, Escrow Assistant. Terry has over 20 years experience in almost every aspect of Real Estate. Adding enthusiasm and professionalism to the Empire Team.

Kay Lynn Mathews, Escrow Closer. Kay Lynn brings with her 23 years of Title experience. That coupled with her time in the lending industry make her a well informed closer. She specializes in Short Sales and Foreclosures and is a pleasure to work with.

Kelly LeCato, Escrow Closer. Kelly has over 7 years experience in the Title Industry as a closer. Her knowledge on Shortsales and Forclosures adds an additional 'notch' to the Empire Title 'belt'.

Cheryl Kenyon, Escrow Assistant. Cheryl has a knack for finding things that can’t be found and getting things that cannot be gotten. Thinking “out of the box” is her way of getting things done.

Melissa Archuletta, Escrow Assistant. Melissa comes to us with a diverse knowledge of the Title and Lending Industries. We welcome her enthusiastic and bubbly attitude.

Megan Savosik, Escrow Assitant. Megan has several years of experience in the Real Estate industry. Her organizational skills and overall attention to detail makes everyone else's job a breeze. Her bright smile is only part of the cheer that is Megan.

Customer Service

Steven Elliott, I.T., O&Es and Title Assistant. With over 15 years experience in the computer field, Steve brings a needed asset to our team. Along with his computer skills, he also brings excellent customer service skills and a well-rounded knowledge of the Title Industry.

Kristy Gonzales , Front Desk and Customer Service. Kristy has several years of Title experience along with some sales and Marketing. Her bright smile and cheerful attitude make our office a pleasure to be in.

Doreen Hussmann, Business Development Specialist. Doreen brings an exciting perspective to Empire Title's sales and marketing team. Full of life and energy, she is a pleasure to have aboard.

Stephanie Hawthorne, Business Development Specialist. Stephanie comes to us from the Real Esate Industry. Her knowledge about what it takes to get the deal done from a Real Estate Agent's point of view, combined with her wonderful smile and great attitude make her a perfect fit for our team here at Empire Title.
